Every Pori Africa Adventures guide is Tanzanian-born, TGTB Class A certified, and has a minimum of five years of field experience in the specific parks they lead. They are not interchangeable. They are the reason clients return.
The Tanzania Tourist Guide Board Class A certification is the baseline, not the benchmark. Every Pori Africa Adventures guide must also demonstrate species knowledge specific to the parks they lead, proficiency in client communication across cultural contexts, and a track record of behaviour under pressure — when a vehicle breaks down, when weather changes a plan, when a client is unwell in the field.
We assign your specific guide before you confirm. You will know their name, their background, and their speciality. If you have a question about them, ask us directly.
