These terms govern your use of this website and the safaris and services you book with Pori Africa Adventures. By using the site or making a booking, you agree to them, so please read them carefully. [Replace the bracketed details with your registered company information before publishing.]
01About us
Pori Africa Adventures is a tour operator based in [Arusha, Tanzania], [registered as … / licence no. …], arranging tailor-made safaris and related travel in Tanzania and East Africa.
02Bookings and your contract
A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and send you written confirmation. At that point a contract exists between you and us on these terms. Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us at once of anything that looks wrong.
03Prices and payment
Prices are quoted for the itinerary agreed and may change before booking due to park fees, exchange rates, fuel or supplier costs. Once your booking is confirmed the price is fixed, except for changes you request or unavoidable government or park-fee increases. [State your accepted payment methods and currency.]
04Deposits, balances and cancellation by you
A deposit of [XX]% confirms your booking; the balance is due [XX] days before travel. If you cancel, the following charges apply: [set out your cancellation scale, e.g. 60+ days before travel — deposit only; 30–59 days — 50%; under 30 days — 100%]. Cancellations must be made in writing.
05Changes or cancellation by us
Occasionally we may need to change or cancel arrangements. Minor changes happen; for significant changes we will offer you a comparable alternative or a refund of amounts paid for the affected services. We are not liable for incidental costs you may incur.
06Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance — covering medical care, emergency evacuation, cancellation and baggage — is a condition of travelling with us. Please arrange it when you book.
07Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visas, and any required vaccinations or health certificates (such as yellow fever where applicable). We are glad to advise, but these requirements remain your responsibility.
08Your responsibilities on safari
You agree to follow the reasonable instructions of your guide, park regulations and safety guidance, and to act considerately towards wildlife, staff and fellow travellers. We may end the arrangements of anyone whose behaviour endangers others or seriously disrupts the trip, without refund.
09Our liability
We take great care in choosing suppliers and arranging your safari. We are not liable for loss, injury or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or by the acts of third-party suppliers, except to the extent the law requires. Our liability for the services we provide is limited to their value.
10Circumstances beyond control
We are not liable for failure to perform where caused by events beyond our control, including severe weather, natural events, disease outbreaks, strikes, civil unrest, government action or transport disruption.
11Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, please tell your guide or our office immediately so we can put it right. Any complaint not resolved at the time should be sent to us in writing within [28] days of your return.
12Website and intellectual property
All content on this website — text, images, logos and design — belongs to Pori Africa Adventures or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Tanzania], and any dispute is subject to the [courts of Tanzania].
